What can we help you with?

The space for all things ORL-HNS Congress related

13. Pre-delivery & Post-collection

Deliveries #

To access the Brisbane Convention Centre Loading Dock, enter off Glenelg Street. The service road is a one-way road and is deemed a tow-away zone to ensure a continuous and clear flow of traffic.

The venue and the congress managers will NOT take responsibility for the clearance of goods through Australian Customs. Exhibitors are responsible for the acceptance of all goods. Neither the venue, the congress managers nor GEL will accept responsibility for the safety of any items delivered in the absence of the exhibitor or their agent. The exception is if you are using GEL for your transportation requirements.

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that the goods have arrived. To avoid delays during bump-in, we suggest utilising GEL as your freight company to ensure all goods have been delivered.

All vehicles and couriers delivering material pre-event or collecting freight post-event for your exhibition must be directed to the BCEC Loading Dock off Glenelg Street. Goods should only be delivered on Thursday 9 March during the allocated bump in times and a member of your organisation must be in attendance to sign for these items. The exception is if you are using GEL for your transportation requirements. Please advise the congress managers (sponex@orlhns23.com) if you plan to use an alternative freight forward provider.

Labelling #

Ensure ALL goods are correctly labelled (with your booth number and organisation noted). To access the delivery label, please refer to GEL. This will be provided directly to exhibitors — please affix this to each item delivered to/sent from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Please advise the congress managers (sponex@orlhns23.com) if you plan to use an alternative freight forward provider.

The BCEC, GEL or the congress organisers will not sign or take responsibility for any goods. The exception is if you are using GEL for your transportation requirements.

Onsite Materials – Handling / Forklifts / Trolleys #

Exhibitors or their stand-builders requiring a forklift during move in or move out must pre-book these services in advance, indicating this on the Move-In and Materials Handling Form. This form must be returned to GEL. Forklift services will be made available to you during your delivery window only if this is booked.

Unpacking within the exhibition must take place in your stand area and not in the aisle ways or at another exhibitor’s stand. Aisles must be kept clear at all times.

Storage #

There will be NO onsite storage facilities for packing materials and boxes. It is recommended that exhibitors consider their storage needs (of packing crates and freight forwarding materials) for the duration of the exhibition. Exhibitors may not leave boxes and packing material in the exhibition display area during the show. Please contact GEL if you wish to store any crates, boxes or equipment at an offsite storage location.
