Associate Professor Elizabeth Sigston is an Australian trained surgeon with 20 years’ experience in Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery (ORLHNS). After obtaining her FRACS, A/Prof Sigston undertook a further subspecialisation in Head & Neck as the Head & Neck Fellow at Monash Health and at the Hospital European George Pompidou in Paris, France. She has worked at Monash Health since 2006 and has extensive clinical experience in both paediatric and adult ENT.
A/Prof Sigston has a PhD in Head & Neck Cancer biology, is Associate Clinical Director of the Monash Institute of Medical Engineering and is actively involved in translational and clinical research.
A/Prof Sigston is a member of the OHNS RACS National Training Board, was a finalist in the 2015 Telstra Business Woman of the Year Awards (Entrepreneur), provides leadership and life coaching for healthcare professionals and advocate for wellness in medicine and women in leadership.
