Dr. Zenia Chow

Dr Zenia Chow is Australian dual fellowship trained Otolaryngologist (ENT) Head and Neck and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She was born and raised in Australia and completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with honours after obtaining a full academic scholarship at the University of Melbourne. Dr Chow was in the Dean’s Honours list during her undergraduate studies. She underwent ENT training in Perth, Western Australia and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013.

Dr Chow has extensive experience in Head and Neck, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery after completing 3 Clinical Fellowships. She initially completed a Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship recognised by the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPS) in Perth. Following this, she completed Head and Neck and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowships at the University of Virginia, USA. In addition, she spent time furthering her skills at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. In 2014 she was awarded the American Academy of Otolaryngology International Travel Grant and Perth Convention Centre Travel Grant. Dr Chow has also successfully passed the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery exam. She was awarded the second highest score out of all international candidates and following completion of this exam she was recognised as a fully qualified Facial Plastic Surgeon by the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. She is the only surgeon in Victoria who has this qualification and completed a Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship.

Prof Sarah Wise

Emory University School of Medicine

Sarah K. Wise, MD, MSCR is Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the Emory Otolaryngology Residency Program Director, Rhinology Fellowship Director, and Director of Otolaryngic Allergy. Dr. Wise completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, residency at Emory University and rhinology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Wise has served on the Board of Directors of the American Rhinologic Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. She will become President of the American Rhinologic Society in September 2022, serving as the Society’s first female president. Her clinical interests include inflammatory rhinology, otolaryngic allergy, relationship of allergy and chronic rhinosinusitis, and cerebrospinal fluid leaks. Dr. Wise lectures nationally and internationally. Her most notable publication is the International Consensus Statement on Allergy and Rhinology: Allergic Rhinitis, where she served as first author/primary editor.
